Wearing pyjamas shopping in Tesco ’s now banned
Uproar in the supermarket aisles today, as we here of the woman banned from Tesco ’s for wearing her pyjamas in the shop. So where do we stand on this great debate as a nation. Let’s examine the facts…
- While she was indeed wearing her pyjamas in Tesco’s, she did in fact claim she’s picked “a good pair” to go out in. Well hang on, if you’ve got the time to hand pick your pyjamas from the top drawer, why the hell couldn’t this extend to your wardrobe two feet away?
- She was actually dressed, albeit not in traditional dress the way we know it. However, surely pyjamas can be put back on once she’s unpacked the shopping, got the gammon in the fridge, all in time for the next enthralling episode of Loose Women?
- It’s evidently a common thing to find women traipsing around shops in their pyjamas. Personally, I’ve not witnessed this, although on numerous occasions I’ve seen people that LOOK like they haven’t got dressed that morning. Mind you, we’re not going to see it again either, certainly not at Tesco’s being as they have now banned the act.
Keep pyjamas in the home. They are for special occasions such as, well, sleeping in. The world isn’t ready for pyjamas in public. Just ask the Bananas (in Pyjamas).
