G-1 Glass Pool Table as seen in Daily Mail Magazine

Surely this is the ultimate boys toy…a glass pool table?

Though, the G-1 Glass Pool Table is no ordinary glass pool table (if there is such a thing). No, this bad boy is made from toughened Vitrik glass about a centimetre and a half in thickness no less. It is apparantely six times stronger than ordinary glass, meaning it’s not going to smash or shatter should you drop anything on it.

You can already envisage the kids lying underneath the glass table watching the balls roll across the table and into the pockets. It’s sure to be a spectacle in itself. One can only imagine the “play” of the table and how perfectly the balls roll across the glass. Not to mention the chrome cue ball you can get, as well as the glass triangle. It just gets better doesn’t it.

We’re hoping that it features dust repellent glass, therefore negating the need for a brush or cloth for the table.

There are many suppliers of glass pool or glass snooker tables, it’s just a case of knowing where to look. A good example is nottagedesign.com, who were featured in the Live Magazine in the Sunday Daily Mail, but prepare to pay up for such a thing of beauty….these glass pool tables are currently retailing at £35,000!

Opulent Fish Tanks like Thierry Henrys Opulent Fish Tank

Opulent Fish Tanks

If you’d like an opulent fish tank like Thierry Henry’s then you’ll want to make sure you’ve got your sizing right first. henry is planning to install a 15ft long, 3ft wide tank into his new home.

Henry’s opulent fish tank is going to consist of four separate tanks, as opposed to one large tank, and they will span the height of his house. There will be one opulent fish tank per floor. The effect will be that the opulent fish tank sits in the middle of the house and is visible on all floors, much like a wall of fish, and will appear as if it is one tank.

Opulent fish tanks are popular among celebrities, with fellow footballers Joe Hart and David Beckham having one, as well as singers Madonna and Cher.

By going for four sepearate opulent fish tanks, Henry has saved himself some money, as the running costs for a single tank that size would be some £80,000 a year, whereas by having four tanks, the cost comes down to £12,000 a year. It’s likely £2,500 of that will be on fish food!

Opulent fish tank owners have a choice of over 2,000 fish to choose from for that are suitable for their aquariums, such as clown fish.

Following his brief return to Arsenal, it seems Thierry Henry is turning his talents for acquatics. We wish him well with his opulent fish tank.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Album Review

Noel is back with his high flying birds and what a triumphant return!

The album kicks of with the anthemic and orchestral brilliance of Everybodys on the run, proving that no number of Youtube rips can compare to the studio version in all it’s CD quality glory. An incredible opener to an album that doesn’t let up until the closer Stop the Clocks.

The previously mentioned Stop the Clocks gets yet another reworking, as does I wanna live in a dream (in my record machine), both of which are old Noel songs that have been hanging around as demos since back in the days of Oasis. In fact, many of the songs on this album Noel has admitted were played with Gem at some point.

The stand out track If I had a gun sitting in track position 3 is Noel at his very best, a bitter sweet love song that will surely go down well as a Christmas release in the UK.

Early singles The Death of you and me, and AKA What a life ease the album along nicely, with not a single filler on the album – its strong from start to finish. Noel Gallaghers high flying birds are here to stay…Liam who?
